I've been truly inspired by all the AMAZING teachers out in blog land and the time has come for me to dive right in and join the fun! I wouldn't have ever created this blog without the inspiration and support of so many great teachers that have guided me to better myself and my craft.

This little blog is a work in progress as I teach myself how to make my sidebars look the way I want them to, so bear with me. There's a lot for me to learn!

This is my 3rd year teaching 1st grade and I LOVE.LOVE.LOVE everything about it. I minored in art at the University of Central Florida {Go Knights!} so I love bringing art into the classroom, especially since our sweet little school doesn't have art on the specials wheel any longer... {I know.gasp.}...darn budget cuts. So anyway, I challenge myself to approach our district adopted curriculum and state standards with a creative eye that engages my students and makes learning fun! I hope to share my ideas and gain just as many from all of you!
