Brown Paper Packages

...tied up with string... These are a few of my favorite things...
~~~~
 I love Maria and her guitar playin', frog hatin', curtain lovin' self.
Like her, I too get excited to see a package when I come home.
Not exactly tied up in string.
But exciting none the less!
A couple weeks ago a I caught wind of a great GROUPON at VistaPrint.com.
I snatched it up and went shopping!
I'm not usually a big fan of online shopping. I like to touch and feel and try things on before I purchase, but with their great customer service promise, I figured I should toss caution to the wind this time.
I mean, you can't go wrong when half your cart is FREE, hello.
And the freebies were an added bonus on top of the fab GROUPON!!
I was not disappointed when I opened the box today!!
Any VistaPrint shoppers out there?
If you've never shopped with them, you have to check it out!
I never knew they offered so many free goodies!
Here are my frugal finds for a whopping $17:
*excuse the cell pictures: our camera is still in a moving box*
2 cute T-shirts (1 was FREE!)
I was able to edit the font/position/colors etc. too!!
2 self inking stamps (the black one was FREE!)
Both were completely customizable too!!
Motivation cards made from "loyalty business cards"
My kiddos are gonna LOVE these!
Happy Birthday (homework passes)
Came with envelopes too... I edited them from invitation cards!
Personalized pen (FREE!!)
I'm funny about how my pens write. Let me introduce to you my new favorite ink pen!
I simply LOVE how it writes. Call me crazy.
Do you see the small tote bag at the top? I didn't get a close up.
It's personalized and was FREE too!
250 Business Cards (FREE!)
Business card holder- also free!
Business card magnets to give to parents!
Appointment cards
I got a bunch of great items that will be handy next year!
Needless to say, I'm officially a huge fan of VistaPrint!
Now it's your turn.
Speaking of TpT, I just posted my 2nd grade CCSS flexible checklists for ELA & Math. It's a great resource to track student assessment scores or track how often you teach each standard...the possibilities are endless, really. The great thing about this resource is that they're flexible enough to adapt and be used however you decide! Click on the picture for more details.
So let's recap your homework for today:
  3. I love Vistaprint too!! I order a bunch of stuff from them every summer. I bought the Groupon too & need to use it still. I didn't realize you were such a close blogging neighbor. I am right in between Daytona Beach & Orlando. Your creations came out great!
  4. Your Vistaprint order is amazing. I always give my Kinders a free homework pass on Valentine's Day, never thought of the idea you did with the birthday pass. Time to recheck out Vistaprint. I've heard of it, but never hit the submit button. I know I saw a blog once that explained how to get the "deals" just can't remember where. I'm linking up as well. The target deals are gone, but the 99cent store and dollar tree are still good. :)
  18. What a great shopping "trip" for you! =) I bought that Groupon, too. Twice, actually, accidentally... Guess that's twice as much for still so little! =) I hadn't used it yet (I had forgotten I bought it! whaaaaaaat?!?!), but logged on immediately when I fell upon your site from Smiling In Second Grade. Were those promotional items that you came across? New-user specials? I can't seem to find any deals as awesome as "half your cart for free"!! If you wouldn't mind sharing your good fortune (though, I know it's nearly a month later), I would greatly appreciate it! =)
    Love your blog, by the way, and am officially your newest follower!
